Ropes Course, White Water Rafting, Scavenger Hunt, Hearty Dinner at a Local Pub

Uniquely Bratislava

Bratislava, compared to other European capitals, is in the possession of a one-of-its-kind combination of size, history, location and diverse outdoors. Where else could you find densely forested mountains, a World Championship White Water Canal and historic city within a half hour reach from each other and another major capital – Vienna just 45min down the road? This has brought us to the idea to offer a uniquely Bratislava experience of an Adrenalin Day. Departing from your hotel, our bus takes you to Bratislava’s three very distinct parts to enjoy three exciting activities. Drinks and snacks will be provided. At the end of the day, we will evaluate and celebrate the three best participants in Bratislava’s Beer Palace.

Ropes course

Built up in a forested mountain above the city, the Ropes Course is where ropes and wires are attached to large trees high above the ground to create courses of different levels. Participants are attached to an upper wire, belay cable, as well as ropes and carabiners for safety. If the participant dangles, they will be caught by the wire. Participants sign a waiver before being allowed on the course. The course is usually 8m/26 ft above the ground. Challenges may be physical and/or emotional. High element programs involve the development and mastery of technical skills. Participants must finish the designated course in the best possible time.

White Water Rafting on the Danube

Having served numerous World Championships, the Bratislava White Water Canal on the Danube River offers a great rafting experience ranging from beginners to olympic gold medallists. Upon arrival all participants receive gear (wetsuite, boots, helmet, life vest) and go to change. Once back the participants receive instructions and are divided into teams. Each team receives a 6-8 person raft with an instructor. There will be hostesses to measure time. The first run is to practice, second for the best time and the last just for fun. Each participant carries away the time reached.

Scavenger Hunt in the streets of the Old Town

Back in the city center, each group receives an envelope in the Opera Square with hints how to find Bratislava’s five funny figures. They will have to take photos with their mobile phones or digital cameras of all five figures as a proof that they found them. We will measure time of each group starting in front of the Opera House and finishing in the same place.

Hearty Dinner at a Local Pub

The evaluation of all activities (best combined time of all three activities) and the selection of the three best participants will take place in one of Bratislava’s great beer halls located in the very historic heart of Bratislava. After the challenging and exhausting day, the participants will appreciate fresh, unpasteurized beer from large tanks in combination with a selection of tasty traditional dishes that central Europe is known for. Lively informal atmosphere created by locals will make for an enjoyable evening.
